Terms of Service
Effective August 26, 2026. BackflowGo is a product of Precision Outreach LLC, Spring, Texas.
1. Agreement
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of BackflowGo (the website, application, and related services). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you are using BackflowGo for a company, you represent that you can bind that company.
2. The service
BackflowGo is software for licensed backflow-prevention assembly testers. It helps you store customers and assemblies, record test results, generate test-report PDFs, invoice customers, and route reports to water purveyors. The product is in early access: features, prices, and availability can change. We do not promise that every water utility will accept a report generated here.
3. Accounts
You must provide accurate account information and keep your password confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account, including testers you invite. We may suspend or close an account that we reasonably believe is abusive, unlawful, or a risk to other users or to the service.
4. Your professional responsibility
You remain the tester of record. You are solely responsible for the accuracy of the data you enter, for performing tests to the applicable standard, for choosing the correct form and destination, and for actually filing with the water purveyor, health department, or portal. BackflowGo generates forms as a convenience from the information you provide. We do not perform tests, certify assemblies, or file with a regulator on your professional license.
5. Official forms
For some jurisdictions we stamp data onto a published government PDF (for example TCEQ-20700, NY DOH-1013, NYC GEN215B, and the other forms listed on the site). Other states receive a generic USC/AWWA-style report. Templates can be revised by the issuing agency. Always review the generated PDF before you file it. A filled form is not legal advice and is not a guarantee of acceptance.
6. Acceptable use
Do not use the service to break the law, to submit false test results, to probe or disrupt the system, to scrape the purveyor directory for an unrelated product, or to send unsolicited bulk email. You may not resell the directory as a standalone data product.
7. Fees
Posted prices (Free up to 3 filed reports per month, $49/month, $499/year) are the planned commercial rates. During early access the product is free and billing is not enforced. When we turn billing on we will say so in the product. We are not collecting card payments for BackflowGo plans today. You can export your data and stop using the service at any time.
8. Your data
You own the customer, assembly, and test records you enter. We need a license to host them, generate PDFs, email reports you ask us to send, and operate the product. You can export customers, assemblies, and tests as CSV from the app. If you close your account we will delete or de-identify your records within a reasonable time, except where we must keep them for legal, security, or accounting reasons.
9. Intellectual property
BackflowGo, the software, the purveyor directory compilation, and our branding belong to Precision Outreach LLC. Government form templates remain the property of the issuing agencies; we use them to produce filings for testers. These Terms do not transfer any agency’s form copyright to you or to us beyond that use.
10. Disclaimer
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PRECISION OUTREACH LLC DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant uninterrupted service, error-free PDFs, complete purveyor contact data, or that a water system will accept a submitted report.
11. Limitation of liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PRECISION OUTREACH LLC AND ITS OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND CONTRACTORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, OR FAILED REGULATORY FILINGS, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR BACKFLOWGO IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR FIFTY U.S. DOLLARS IF YOU PAID NOTHING.
12. Indemnity
You will defend and indemnify Precision Outreach LLC against claims arising from your test reports, your filings, your customer data, or your misuse of the service, except to the extent a claim is caused by our willful misconduct.
13. Termination
You may stop using BackflowGo at any time. We may stop providing the service or an account with reasonable notice when we can, or immediately if we believe there is fraud, abuse, or legal risk. Sections that should survive (including 4, 8–12, and 14) will survive.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. You and Precision Outreach LLC agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Harris County, Texas, except that we may seek injunctive relief in any court of competent jurisdiction.
15. Changes
We may update these Terms. The “Effective” date at the top will change. Material changes will be posted on this page. Continued use after the new date is acceptance of the updated Terms.
